Lars Andreas Kristiansen.
I was born in 1970 in Lyngby, a suburb of Copenhagen. Growing up in a traditional family with a mother working as a schoolteacher, father working for an insurance company, and a 2 years younger brother.
I have 4 (!) kids. Two from a former relationship and two with my lovely wife.
Kids are a gift to this world, and having the privilege of 4 aged from 1 to 11 years is like winning the big lottery!
Furthermore having the privilege of also working with kids/teens online concludes the circle giving the dynamic input from younger generations as a way of living also.
Besides my work with online communities (www.guppylife.com – www.habbo.dk – www.n.dk), I have been working with online advertising since 1998 for some major Danish sites both directly as an employee but also when working for a now closed company called NetPool – a company selling target groups in the Nordics as one of the first players in this field in the Nordic region.
Through this I have learned a lot about the mechanisms behind online marketing, ad sales, and optimizing campaigns. I have been part of the Danish Internet evolution, seeing how we came from simple informative (very print material like) sites to the way more complex and interaction oriented sites and communities we see nowadays.
